Green Fire, 2018.
A green fire in the sky over Yellowknife, Canada, 2018. Without the magnetosphere, a deflector formed by Earth’s magnetic field, we would have no protection against the direct impact of the solar wind. With the magnetosphere in place, though, we can enjoy these bright and dancing light displays.
For this photograph, a total of nine limited edition prints, all hand signed and numbered, are available as original photo prints under acrylic glass. Additionally, one artist’s print has been printed.
